I am sorry to report that my good friend and mate Spencer is in Hospital again, this time with Liver failure. How much bad luck can a man have?
He has had more than his share lately!
I will be visiting him shortly and will pass on any good wishes any of you may want me to.

Dave
I was due to come down and visit Spence at his home, so thanks for updating us with this news. Please give him my best wishes when you see him, and tell him that I will ring him when the time is right. As you say, he has had a long run of bad luck both with his health and his personal life. He certainly doesn't deserve it.

This is indeed bad news. Please give Spence our best wishes and tell Him that our thoughts are with Him during this hard time.

Just seen this. Poor ol' Spence really has had a basin full this year as Ken has said.
Hope he's OK and fights his way out of this.
Wishing him well.

Just a short update on Spence.
He is still in Hospital, which is the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford Kent. This is his third day so far, but he is keeping his spirits up getting through it by checking out the young nurses.
I will be visiting him tomorrow afternoon before I go off for a weeks holiday so I will only be keeping in touch with him by phone for the next week.
I will pass on all your regards.

Just had a chat with Spence who gave me a call from his hospital ward. He is understandably very weak, and has been unable to eat. Spence hopes that he is able to return home asap, and he thinks that should be sometime next week. That may be a bit ambitious.
It would appear that all of his medical problems have been as a result of an extremely stressful period in his life a couple of years ago.

Spencer is now out of Hospital and at home on the mend. I will be visiting him again soon but I have 2 gigs in Helsinki Finland to get done first, then will get to visit him with Carol.
Spence is off loading a bit of gear soon so keep your eyes open for it.
There will be a few amps I know one of them is an immaculate Fender Vibrosonic, plus a Nashville 112 all Spencer's equipment is always in perfect condition so will be as good as the day it left the factory.
Some of it is in his upstairs studio, so I will be lifting it down stairs for him as he is now basically living downstairs as the stairs knacker him out so much.
He is a fighter so I am sure he will bounce back with a little help.
I will keep you posted.
