News of steel players

I will tell you now Steve. That guitar will be a tone machine as Jeff really knows how to put a pedal steel together. I love my Show Pro, and am thinking of getting a second one.

Thanks Ken
I've been watching videos of them on YouTube and noticed pretty much all the pro's are playing them therefore pulled the trigger on what will be mine!
Great to hear your experience with them is fantastic! Jeff's a great builder and a great person in general!

They are a real custom shop guitar by any stretch of the imagination. I hope you are getting the Lawrence 710 pickup on your guitar as the Show Pro and the 710 is a marriage made in heaven. I have spent many a great day with Jeff and Gloria, and we had a great dinner one evening last year in a steak house in Mount Juliet. Jeff is a really good steel player himself. Mike Johnson was at the Dallas Show some 2 or 3 years ago, and his Show Pro had the best tone of the whole weekend in my opinion. Huge rich and clean tone. As an investment it is worth every penny.

Well there's two pickups I'm thinking about. The 710 and the Wallace True Tone. I agree with all of that, especially the Mike Johnson comment.

Very nice, Steve. Beautiful piece of wood there! There's nothing as pretty as a natural finish IMHO. It'll look good when the metalwork is added. Have you got a finish/delivery date?
