C6 Neck

Hi All,

Just a general question i've been ponering over, Given that most of us now play single neck E9's, why has nobody producced a Single neck C6?
Could an E9 be converted to a C6? I know there's always the 12 string universal option.
What are your thoughts Guys?

Several people have had various builders do a guitar with C6 copedant, just really a case of adding pedals and levers to suit the individuals preference.The basic guitar body is just the same.

I have owned a few S10`s that have been a C6th at their birth, its wonderful cos when you make them into an E9th you end up with lots of spares The S10 Black Emmons that Baz Weston talked me out of many years ago started life as a C6th......

I'm sure it could be done, as a few years ago I saw an American guy playing with the C6th on the front neck, E9 back, but the first three pedals were in the ususal place.

Looking at the Universal option,
are there moves possible on a C6 neck that you just can't get with a Universal ?

Shaun, if you are seriously thinking about C6th. look at the numbers...... you can bet there are a lot more D10`s out there than Uni`s IMHO I don`t think the two mix that well and if you listen to one of the greats giving it large on the back neck nothing can compare! and likewise the front neck though I am sure others will disagree

imo 2 necks are better than 1
