Anyone know who the steel player is on the Elkie Brookes version of 'Pearl's a Singer'? No credit on the CD sleeve...

I suppose it could be Eric Weissberg, (Duelling Banjos) he's on the album and he's a multi instrumentalist, banjo, mandolin, guitar and dobro, I suppose its possible he may pick a bit of steel???
Dave.

Here he is guys, John Edmed, pedal steel guitarist. Below is part of a review by Jim Evans (reporter of the day)..... :geek: :)

Elkie's present steelie is Melvin Duffy , he joined the band in 2008 ;)

The lead guitarist/musical director is Elkie's husband, Pete Gage.. :ugeek:

Any more questions ?? (can't guarantee to answer them though) :D
