News of steel players

I wonder How many steel players in the UK have D10s but do not play the C6,and still hump them D10`s to and from gigs.and after many years playing a D10 I could not be without the C6, i could get by with a universal but not a S10 as my only steel because i would miss the 6th tuning.

I was one who humped around a D10 and never ever really got to grips with the C6. Always loved the sound, just never had the ability. I still have the Blanton, but have never even tried C6 again since I got the Williams.

For the record! Henry and I have been in contact since that last reply!
It is great to see the younger blood taking more of an active part here!
There may be a future in this old PSG after all eh!

As J D says if you don`t try and play the C6th you will never be able to,i know i am very glad i did not give up trying and i can play the C6th { or should i say i am still trying } John has heard me play the C6th and knows how bad i am at it LOL BUT i did try and did not give up trying .I am sure if i can do it anyone can, because i am as thick as a brick LOL .
