Just a thought

Why do people have to have engravings scratched onto the endplates and the pedalboard? :( :?
I have seen a beautifull Sho_Bud Pro and another great looking PRO steel that i was interested in ,but the endplate had engravings of names and that put me off,the Bud had the buildings and other things, but i guess some peaple like that sort of thing.

But unless you dont intend ever selling the guitar thats fine, but It must devalue a guitar if you do try and sell it and it also makes it a lot harder to polish the end plates..

I am not trying to upset anyone and not saying it should not be done but IMHO {for what thats worth im just an old fart ;) } i think it ruins the guitar.

I agree with you Jimmy, I certainly wouldnt want to buy a psg with someone elses name etched on it, surely it must devalue the instrument (unless its etched with- Buddy or Lloyd or the likes)
I did own a Sho Bud LDG years ago that was signed by Lloyd but that was discreetly on the underneath, I doubt it made any prespective buyer want it anymore than an unsigned version.

Etched with Buddy or Lloyd :) :) :) yes that could be cool 8-) ,but i think {ouch thinking again :D :D } only if the steel was keeper and not for sale.just my thoughts.

Bit off topic, but do you remember, many years ago i stayed at you home when i was playing with Brian Chalker, and the band called The new Frontier? Now in giving my age away  ;)
