Bands with OSG doing the Midland Clubs

Hi all
The name is Bob,very new to your BSS
The wife and I used to follow a band i beleive know as Cotton Gin around Wolves area.Many years ago
There psg player at that time had a ShoBud Maverick,I eventually located one in Brum,Never really got to grips with it,and ended up selling it,Just have a 5st Banjo at the minute.
Does anyone know if their still about?
Got a feeling the PSG Player was named Cliff/Barry Weston but cant be sure.
