Eddie, was playing in Stonehaven last night and was speaking to the guy who is MC at Ellon where you played last Sunday. He was most complimentary about the performance of your band, saying it was a pleasure to hear an Irish band do so much good traditional country Hope you enjoyed your mini tour.Malcolm

Malcolm, I have to say, we had a really brilliant time over in your lovely country, we were made very welcome in Thurso, at the northern nashville club, a great turnout, lovely people, really into their music, we played invergordon on the saturday, turnout was a little dissapointing, as we were competing with a country music festival in Aberdeen, but we still had an enjoyable night, the sunday night in Ellon was a fabulous night, the dance floor never emptied, we stayed very late, courtesy of a very friendly barman, and left about 4am heading straight for the boat at Stranraer, arriving home in the west coast of Ireland some 12 hours later, exhausted, but happy, a very succesful mini tour, i would say, we will be back, i would describe the Jesse Conlon Band as traditional to modern country with a slight edge, ie clean steel, fiddle, keyboard, slightly overdriven gutsy telecaster, 3 part harmonies, 6 piece band, with no egos onboard, who all enjoy what we do, and who all get on very well, and i think that comes across to the punters, thanks for that post Malcolm
