Hiya Bob.
Really dont know, I certainly havnt heard off him, or about him for ages. He was a cracking player, very much in the USA west coast feel, mooney/brumley/red rhodes. I knew the Kursals banjo player quite well, Richie Bull, some of the older guys on here may remember him, what a banjo player he was, could honestly hold his own with anyone from the States.
At the back of my mind,in the very depths of memory, I seem to remember something about Vic working or depping with 'Heads Hands and Feet' that was one of the many bands featuring a young-Albert Lee. Could be mistaken though.
The band Kursal Flyers? brilliant musicians all, but sadly, like a few others, a bit modern for the then UK country club scene.
These bands tried to break the mould, but the UK cowboy/gunfighter brigade would have none of it (sadly)
Would be nice to know if Vic is still around, picking etc, anyone?????
Dave.

I remember Vic Collins playing in the Newberry festivals in the early 90's. He used to do things like Hotel California. Great player.
