Bob Wills Lever?

Been out of the saddle for a week or two, refurbishing a little cottage me and Mrs Stan are lucky enough to have.....
Bone grinding work
Sat down last night for a twang and it was all going unusually well.......till I slipped in a cheeky 7th on string 2
(left hip left).
It was accompanied by a Bob-esque Holler, unfortunately not of joy, but of pain coming from my already
hip....
I think I’ve put off having a bionic one stuck in for rather too long.
I wondered if any of you more mature folks have had a replacement, and how long it took to get back to playing? Also wondered if it was painful
Not that it matters cos I’m rite brave I am

Sorry to hear that you are Mortal after all. Hope you are still able to wield the chip pan in early May.
