Just got the new newsletter thanks.

In the article abut the passing of Bud Isaacs, it says he co-founded Sho~Bud with Shot Jackson. Is that correct?

I always thought it was Shot and Buddy Emmons.

Jeff, I think you are right, the writer has his facts wrong here. I always understood it was Buddy and Shot alone. Maybe someone can prove us wrong?

After Buddy Emmons left, the "Bud" became Buddy Charleton, of course.

My sincere apologies--as they say in the U S (and perhaps in the U K), I have "egg on my face" regarding my statement that Bud Isaacs co-founded the Sho-Bud company with Shot Jackson . . . the co-founder (with Jackson) was--of course--the late Buddy Emmons. I thank JeffM for catching this, and will retract my erroneous statement in my next column. Have a good day.

Just caught up with this month's edition. Great interview with Richard Nelson and I thoroughly enjoyed the review of the Irish Bash, looking forward to part two. Great stuff Roy
