Received with thanks, Roy.
Very interesting article on how the bagpipes are the hardest instrument to play. I reckon they could be (for some) the hardest to listen to, too.
So, applying this equation, in reverse, to the PSG, which is the easiest instrument to listen to.....why do I find it so bloody hard to play?
All in all a great read.

A good read, Roy, and nice to see Pete Lindsley in there. As for the bagpipes, it reminds me of that old joke:
"What is the definition of a gentleman? Someone who can play the bagpipes.... but doesn't!" Ba dumm - disshhhh

Just to change the subject slightly, Danny Mitchell is one of the nicest people I have ever met, his enthusiasm for the steel knows no bounds and his hunger to learn more is obvious at the SSGW. He is easy to teach and soaks it all up like a sponge. I am running out of superlatives. Donny.

what Donny said, Danny is also a top class guitarist/mandolin player and Recording engineer supreme

.Loved working in studio with Danny, always did a superb job on our recordings.Down side is he has got so good I can say goodbye to any more session work, as he is capable of doing it himself now

should have kept my big mouth shut and told him to leave it under bed.
