Hello I'm a newbie on here and have just sold my beginner pedal steel as I was having issues with tuning and knee leaver issues
I'm now in the market for a good quality last me a lifetime e9 steel
I recently saw a lovely sho bud, but I'm now a little bit confused as to whats out there and I'm keen not to make the same mistake I made with my starter.
Don't have massive amounts of money but I am looking for the best quality I can get for my £
I hear a lot of talk about emmons and I went across to see John Davis and his sounded lovely
So if anyone has any advice or good quality pro instrument to sell, I would be very interested
Thank you in advance
Rob Norton

Hi Rob
My tuppence worth would be, keep in touch with John Davis, as he always has a guitar or four in his living room. Also, keeping a sharp eye on the for sale section, there's been a few tasty buys recently. All the best with the quest!

I have just seen an Emmons Black Rock advertised on Gumtree (Glasgow) £700. There is a phone number contact.I am pretty sure I know the seller.

Thank you everyone for the feedback, John that sho bud sounds great!
Shipping mine out tomorrow so need to make a decision soon as I'm keen to get something I can really get practicing on and get my teeth into(so to speak)

Wondering if any of you good people
On here have any thoughts on other good quality E9 pedal steel that might be available for sale, got
My eye on a sho bud but just wanted to see what else
Maybe around before I make a final decision....
I thought I knew a good instrument in the way of guitars, but I soon realised that this doesn't really translate to pedal steel, so just relying on the good people on this
Forum
Any thoughts greatfully received
Thanks again
Rob
