Carter pull rod needed

I had a rod snap just where the bend is, it's is the A pedal B to C# on my Carter uni 12. I don't suppose anyone has one for sale or could make one for me. I managed to do a repair for the time being. Any help would be appreciated...John

Contact Al Brisco, he has all the Carter spares from the Carter Factory.

thanks Malcolm, I tried his web site but was unable to get into the ordering section due to a popup that would not go away, anyway I emailed him and am waiting for a reply...john

Al is normally quick to get back and will get rod off to you pretty fast if he has it, which I'm sure he will.

Send me a picture of the bend in the rod John, and the length you need!
Normally Carter's are straight through the brass wotsit!??

Hi Bob, the carter has dumbbell that fits into the bell crank ,the rod has bend that hook around the brass dumbbell, the rods are made of stainless steel, they snap very easily. I will wait for Al to reply, if I don't hear from him I ask you to make one. There is a topic on it over on the usa forum, titled dumbbells wanted... thanks for replying Bob...John

Hi Bob, thanks. The rod is 28.6/16 long. That's from the thread tip to the tip of the bend.. have got my address and what do I owe you for it. John
