For sale, D10 Sho-Bud super pro 1985 model, 6 knee and 8 pedals. This is my personal guitar for more than 15 years and now it's time to sell it. I don't really play C6 neck and just buy a G2 SD10 wich is lighter for traveling. This guitar is totally incredible, very short courses and sweet. She has been totally refurbished, cleaned and defective parts replaced with James Morheads replica. Changer has been deeply cleaned. Pickups have a fantastic tone and i test it at 18k, no damage and sound as a Sho bud pickups should. I can setup the guitar with the copedent you need for sure ! It's a big decision for me and hope this beauty will find a good and passionate owner.
Matt this is a beautiful instrument and as a recent member and novice player with a Carter Starter from which I want to upgrade, your steel could be the one.
I wonder if it's possible to replace the C6 with a pad and if so how I could go about that?
Noel - it is possible to rip the thing to bits and put a pad on the back but why not learn to play C6th and leave that beauty as it is ? C6th is not so hard to figure out once you stop trying to play E9th on it and use it for what it is. Actually, there must be some SD10's out there at much less cost anyway. Best regards, T.
