John, I played a Black Rock for 30 odd years with 3 floor and 2 levers and if it hadn't been for the incident of being written off between 2 buses I think I would happily still be playing it today.
I removed the tone and volume controls and I believe improved the tone at the same time.
Great wee guitars, in fact I sold one last month in fantastic condition to a young Newby at the steel workshop at Gartcosh
