Hi all, my father passed away recently leaving this Emmons twin neck pedal steel guitar. The family and I know absolutely nothing about pedal steel guitars. We are trying to get some information on this pedal steel and what it might be worth before we put it up for sale. We are located in N. Ireland. Thank you all for your help.

That is a beautiful guitar, I note it has the Le Grande pedals so poss mid to late 80's at a guess.
See how many knee levers it has under it, a buyer would need that info and take lots of close up pics for your advert start at 4.5 k OBO (you can always come down) and see what offers you get.
Good luck with your sale.

Can you take a photo of the endplate of the guitar close to where the strings pass over the bridge? its the plate on the end of the guitar where there is a socket for the cable to be plugged into it. That's important as it determines which model of Emmons it is. It's a good example of a veneer lacquer finished Emmons where the colour stain hasn't changed colour. It's pretty dusty so a clean up would make a big difference to its appeal. Very nice guitar, and it will certainly attract a lot of interest.
