Where did you get the bits to upgrade, as I have a Carter Starter that has got sloppy over the past 20 years. and would like do the same as you.

Thanks for responding to my post, I was impressed with your updated levers and pedal mechanisms (I am now assuming they are all your own work) I think it's a good price, they are great guitars, maybe not as sturdy as the more expensive models, but they make all the right sounds.
