Nearly 3 years ago I inherited a Green Bennett PSG, it had been customised and with the help of wonderfully encouraging member Peter Lindsey overseeing I returned it to a standard set up with 3 pedals, 5 levers and I think its called an ABC co-pedent? After several attempts to learn to play this wonderful instrument and waiting for a pedal which never arrived I put it away 'for a while' I think its a real shame that such an instrument should remain un-played when it could be enjoyed by somebody who would appreciate it but I have lost enthusiasm and as I am in my 70's I think it unlikely that I will ever get it back! so I would like to offer it for sale. I haven't a clue what it is actually worth, I don't want to ask an unreasonable amount but I also don't want to completely under sell it, so I am open to suggestions and offers, Also I want whoever does eventually own it to be happy with it. So I would really love for anybody interested to come over and see and play it. I live in Attleborough which is 14 miles south-west of Norwich. You will need to bring your own amp, and pedal in order to test it. Having never been a 'steelie' I can't truthfully say what condition its in but I would love to know it was being loved.
The guitar itself was owned and played by a wonderful Welsh Musician called Eddie Roberts, who could virtually make it talk! I played guitar with him on many occasions in two different bands, and everybody loved the PSG, it always created lots of interest. This heavy instrument comes in a flight case, has several steels, a box of lots of extra 'bits', spare strings, and a small pile of tablature. I have taken photos, but apparently I can only post 10 [I do have a few more], if you are interested PLEASE examine them carefully as I don't want any potential purchaser to be disappointed.
If you've got this far thank you for your interest and perseverance and I await any helpful comments and suggestions!

Am very interested in Bennett.
I have a special 8 string Bennett and am looking to up grade to 10 string keyless as yours.
Ron has quoted me about £1600 for brand new with case
I would expect to pay say half plus a bit for older used one
I am near Chelmsford Essex so Norfolf is dooable.

Thank you for getting back to me, I'm encouraged that there are still steel players out there, I think the PSG is a wonderful instrument and I love to hear it I will get back to you in a few days time!

For anyone interested in this, study the pics you will see its a 12 string been used as a 10 string the remaining pedals don't look to be in the right place andi am guessing at least two knee levers removed

Hi Steelies,
Thanks John for pointing this out. Sorry if anybody feels misled! I did ask that anybody interested should examine the pictures carefully as I do not want any potential buyer to be disappointed. There is a spare pedal and connecting rod among the 'bits' shown in some of the photos, but what you see is what I've got!
As I said I inherited the guitar as the wonderful Eddie Roberts left me a PSG in his will, when I collected it his family gave me the Bennett although he actually told me he would leave me his twin necked Sho-Bud, but as I am not a player I am thankful anyway. I just feel having it sit under a bed un-played is is not what he intended and is not honourable to him. [By sheer accident I didn't specify 10 strings as I didn't know there were others!]
However, I will now add a few more photos for your perusal
Thanks all
Gerry K
