Hi, everyone.

As much as I've enjoyed playing the very lovely Sho-Bud Super Pro I bought from John Davis last October, I'm putting it up for sale.

Why am I selling? I bought it to augment the sound of the small Americana/bluegrass/country trio I play in, but I just can't do the instrument justice. Work and life take up too much of my time for me to learn to play it properly, so it sits with a sheet over it, taking up a lot of room in our lounge (something my wife isn't crazy about).

I'm just looking to get back what I've put into it, which is £2,100.

It comes with the original hardshell Sho-Bud case, a bag for the pedal rods, a Goodrich volume pedal, and a couple of sets of strings.

It's an excellent player and it deserves to go to a good home.

I can post pics if anyone would like to have some.

I live in Somerset, so I would prefer cash-on-collection at my home, but if you're not too far away, I could probably meet you halfway somewhere.

Please ask any questions you might have. I'll be happy to answer them.

Thanks. It is!

I found a list of serial numbers on another forum and based on that, my Sho-Bud was made in Feb 1980.

Where do you live?
