Hi Jani
I get all of my Emmons p/p parts from Michael Yahl, Billy Knowles and Clem Schmitz - all from the USA. Michael and Clem both make their own parts, and Clem in particular designs some very nifty parts, like clip on bell cranks which can overcome having to remove cross shafts. I bought a vertical lever kit from Billy Knowles and it was very easy to fit.

I think I'm right in saying that Scotland's Bob Adams also has some parts for the push pull guitar. Bob is very helpful and knows the push pull very well. His web site on www.http://www.pedalsteel.co.uk/ is very comprehensive and gives his contact details too.

Hope you're keeping well. Ken.

Hi Jani, if Bob cannot fix you up I may be able to spare a few bits, is this Sami's old Emmons? I wondered where it went.

Not sure where you're at with this but this is what I can do if required.

The cross shafts (to hand) are 150mm approx (a couple slightly over and a couple slightly under) these however can be made to a specific size if required.

I've put in the D10 pedal cross shaft in case you fancy going to nine!! I know what you're like!!! ;) Bob

ps: Looking back up your requirements here your email differs to your initial post however stops etc., not an issue.

A little personal note for the wider community from one who is and should be officially retired! I do all things pedal steel as a labour of love for the continuity of our steel community. Many of our instruments are long since out of production and parts are scarce to find so making them can sometimes be the only option.
Any parts I provide are on a no profit making basis, some items I have purchased with appropriate cost and some items I make (likewise) with appropriate cost. For the 'foreseeable future' I will always endeavour to provide what I can at the best possible price and without the ridiculous charges applied when we have to import!

Cor Blimey Bob, those parts of yours look great, and I'm well chuffed that one of our own is making new parts for our old pride and joys. I will be in touch after Christmas for a couple of polished long handle p/p lever kits (LKL & LKR) for my C6 neck. One area that you might want to consider that would be popular are clip-on lever flags. I fitted a couple that I made onto my RKR and LKR on my p/p, and they made a huge difference. Keep up the good work buddy, and early Christmas wishes to you and Olly.
