Fishman Aura Jerry Douglas pedal for resonator guitar
Posted: Wed Jun 10, 2020 7:57 pmUp for sale is my Jerry Douglas Signature Aura Imaging Pedal for square neck resophonic guitar. The pedal is in mint condition, full working order and comes boxed and with user guide. Here is what Fishman has to say about it:
"The JD Signature pedal comes pre-loaded with 16 custom Aura Images created by Jerry Douglas specifically for resophonic guitars. Easy to set up and use, the Jerry Douglas Signature Aura Imaging Pedal removes the need to mic your instrument on stage, eliminating spurious stage noise and intrusive microphone setups. With the Jerry Douglas Signature Aura Imaging Pedal, you get the true, unique voice of your resophonic instrument, on stage or in the studio".
Although Fishman says that the pedal removes the need to mic your instrument you do, of course, need a pickup in your resonator guitar - which they overlook mentioning. The recommended pickup is Fishman's own Nashville Series but as the pedal is a tone shaper I see no reason why it should not be effective with other pickups.
The Jerry Douglas Signature Aura Imaging Pedal currently has a street price of a rather heady £340+ but I am offering this mint example for a more palatable £175 including shipping within mainland UK. Payment by PPG or cash on collection. I'm happy to drive a reasonable distance to meet if that's preferred.
