Hi David...Yes This is the only MSA Signature series guitar in the UK or Europe..
The guitar was made by Mitchell Smithy for himself..... ...Mitchell is the technical engineer at MSA and is a superb steel player

As Ken said ...I had a hell of a job to persuade Mitchell to sell it...Problem was ,,there was several guys trying to buy it....

The MSA, that was for sale here ...... Is an 50th anniversary model...and not an XL signature series , which is the very latest model MSA now make......
This guitar has the L.FRET lighted fret boards and is made form Timeless Timber.............Mitchell owns a small supply of that wood and it is not available for sale

I am getting a new S10 Signature series made, and that is the only reason, I'm considering selling this guitar.....I also still have the MSA D10 that Johnny Cox built for me.
I can't store them all...You should buy this one... I regret selling my MSA millennium to Bob Adams.. However. I know, Bob will look after it, and at least he can play the thing.........As you know, I cant play note and only collect these things.......... That's the scoop

Hope your are keeping well...I'm off to Scotland this weekend, to race my new Legend car, and try to get one up on all those Scottish racers

When does your racing season end Ivor? I must come over and see you and Frances again sometime, and spend a day with you and give you a day's serious lesson so you CAN at least play a note! I just need to put your index finger in a vice to straighten it out so that you can get the correct angle on your fingerpick.

Mitchell will have to raise his game a little as the best MSA player, as Travis Toy is raising the bar somewhat.

This gorgeous instrument is now sold. ...... If the new owner wishes to reveal himself, that will be his decision.
I wish him many years of enjoyment with this great MSA.

I'm very pleased to say, my MSA is now sold and going to a superb player , who will do it justice.......

Many Thanks, to Mr TED Nesbitt of Rainbow music.. .Irelands number one steel guitar dealer

Sadly it will now be at least, 10 months before I can get my hands on another one...

MSA Steel guitars are made like a rolls Royce car..............................

Micro Space make the MSA guitar as a hobby really....Their day job is making parts, for the USA Military, parts for the stealth bomber...and the Boeing aircraft coporation

They also make artificial limbs...like knee joints and elbow joints along with several other classified products....

The , MSA Guitar, is superbly engineered, and with Mark Giles body's, It is very hard for other builders , to compete ,with a company Like micro space, for quality and finish................

Congratulations on selling your amazing guitar so quickly Ivor. Quality always sells. You should be wary of the comparison between MSA and a high end car. There is already a pedal steel company that likes to align itself with another top car marque - i.e. Bentley. I will refrain from making a too disparaging comment about the merits of that action as I have said enough on Facebook about it. Mark Giles is a master cabinet maker, and he never makes anything that is not incredible. My Zum body that he did for me is superb. I look forward to seeing your S10 next year at Dallas. With my belly, an S10 would not be an ideal fit for me as you have to sit pretty close to the guitar in order to actuate the levers.

Finally, Ted Nesbitt is not just Ireland's "number one steel guitar dealer". He is Europe's top dealer.
