The Sarno is a very good bit of kit, yes it gives a warm tube effect.

I've watched this post with great interest and it seems to have run it's course now, so here is my humble contribution to end it on a humorous note.
A wee poem frae " the reel Rabbie "
Danny's " on the lannie " but his brain is still the same
when it comes to electronics he really knows his game
those years of hard earned knowledge, he tells of them with clout
and again we'll listen to him co's he knows it all, no doubt.
Bob's post mentioned warm tube and it made me squirm with fear
thinking of the doctor who stuck one up my rear.
El Parko sold this black box, no more words can we recover
it's time to put this post to bed, till someone sells another!
