Nearly 3 years ago I inherited a Green Bennett PSG, it had been customised and with the help of wonderfully encouraging member Peter Lindsey overseeing I returned it to a standard set up with 3 pedals, 5 levers and I think its called an ABC co-pedent? After several attempts to learn to play this wonderful instrument and waiting for a pedal which never arrived I put it away 'for a while' I think its a real shame that such an instrument should remain un-played when it could be enjoyed by somebody who would appreciate it but I have lost enthusiasm and as I am in my 70's I think it unlikely that I will ever get it back! so I would like to offer it for sale. I haven't a clue what it is actually worth, I don't want to ask an unreasonable amount but I also don't want to completely under sell it, so I am open to suggestions and offers, Also I want whoever does eventually own it to be happy with it. So I would really love for anybody interested to come over and see and play it. I live in Attleborough which is 14 miles south-west of Norwich. You will need to bring your own amp, and pedal in order to test it. Having never been a 'steelie' I can't truthfully say what condition its in but I would love to know it was being loved.
The guitar itself was owned and played by a wonderful Welsh Musician called Eddie Roberts, who could virtually make it talk! I played guitar with him on many occasions in two different bands, and everybody loved the PSG, it always created lots of interest. This heavy instrument comes in a flight case, has several steels, a box of lots of extra 'bits', spare strings, and a small pile of tablature. I have taken photos, but apparently I can only post 10 [I do have a few more], if you are interested PLEASE examine them carefully as I don't want any potential purchaser to be disappointed.
If you've got this far thank you for your interest and perseverance and I await any helpful comments and suggestions!
