Roy Smeck Lap Steel

Six string lap steel for sale. This is a Roy Smeck lap steel probably dating from the 60s. Those I have seen on the net were made by Harmony and had a black neck on a cream base. This is all black and doesn’t appear to have been refinished.
It has sockets for legs on the base which are 1/4 “ diameter. It has a great pickup and the tone and volume controls work as they should. Currently tuned to open G but could be restrung and tuned to C6. Soft guitar case included.
