The Carter-Starter is an entry-level, maple cabinet, 10 string pedal steel guitar in the standard E9 tuning, made at the Carter factory in Mesquite, Texas USA.
With 3 pedals and 4 knee levers, its all-pull changer system, accurate mechanism, low maintenance, and end-plate tuning make it very user-friendly steel to get started on. Special pickup designed exclusively for the Carter-Starter.
Great condition: bought in 2003, never gigged, and rarely played in the last few years because of kids & travelling!
