As a matter of interest, do you know how the d/c# change works on the 2nd string? does the 9th string B->D change stay on the D when the 2nd is changing from D -> C#?

I've never really got these half stop changes.

Also what are the adjusters that I can see i) under the backplate and ii) under the tops of the changers?

the set up on string 2 & string 9 is the same as on most psgs Henry
from Eb to D on string 2 (half or feel stop) string 9 remains on D
once string 2 lowers to C#, string 9 goes along w: it down to C# as well ( it's not shown on the chart, but it's there)
as to those " adjusters ", they are split screws that permit splits if needed
for example on string 5 whole tone raise w: pedal 6 - if i want to lower that note a half tone, the split screw will permit that, using a lever
