Looking to sell or exchange my Carter Universal 12 String - only purchased December 17 from one of the members on here
I was toying with the thought of my first C6th, however another member on here advised the universal tuning could be changed to an E9th Extended which appealed to me (as it was a happy medium between E9th and C6th) the undercarriage was then changed accordingly and new parts made/changed where necessary - The guitar itself is in great condition and from what we could see only has one small mark under the armrest, overall the chrome is in great condition as is the red paintwork on the body. Previous owner had invested in a new case for the rods/legs and the case for the guitar itself is in an excellent condition.
The setup includes Day Setup - but with the addition of Franklin, Boowah & Sigler pedals) I have the copendent and everything is coloured coded
I had only played a 4x3 setup (this is a 7x5) Truth be told there is too much going with the setup for me - and having spent the last few years on a smaller starter steel with a standard E9th setup I feel more comfortable with - since buying the 12 sting Carter its only been played a handful of times and has spent more time in its case.
My intention is to exchange for another standard 4x3 E9th or for cash (between buying the steel and having it setup in the extended E9th I wasn't far off the £1500 mark) but don't expect the same return
