Fender Stringmaster 1953 Oct. model

I have this beautiful old guitar from 1953 , it is the sought after 26" scale model f/w 4 legs you can play it sitting or standing (sounds just as good either way :lol:

) everything works as it should and it comes in a very good though non-original case.
on the down side, The legs though fully functional, could do with re-chroming, and the body could do with a re-finish so, rather than spend an obscene amount of money on it, I thought I would make it "open to offers as is" just in case there is someone who would like to do the work themselves. If there are no offers after a week or two I think it will be on its way to Ronnie Bennett for a refurb.
This is the actual guitar that Baz H played at this gig in Birmingham so you will know what it sounds like......

beautiful instrument and what-a-sound.... amazing... does the lapsteel come with Basil's hands? if so I would be willing to make you a very generous offer :mrgreen:
