This guitar was custom built for Lloyd Green in 2001. He had decided to return to the recording industry after a break of 15 years. After serious consideration, he decided he would feel more confident playing his trusty old Sho-Bud LDG, and consequently did not accept the guitar from Jimmy Crawford of JCH Steel Guitars. I have an email from Lloyd confirming the story. The guitar was purchased by a gentleman in Arizona who manufactured parts for Jimmy Crawford. He was not an active player, and as a result the guitar has been stored for 11 years. The guitar is "Mint" finished in Emerald Green lacquer, with beautiful inlays on the front panel.
Body and custom inlays by Mark Giles (Custom Body Craftsman) Highly polished hardware. Lawrence 710 p/up as specified by Lloyd Green. 3 pedals and 5 k/levers with split tuning. The guitar is set-up to the Emmons copedent. Has a full tone raise on string 1, and a half-tone raise on string 2 with split tuning on string 6. The guitar has an amazing sound, and looks a million dollars. Quote from Lloyd's email ......I'm equally certain there was never another JCH with such ornamention,at least relative to my name. It is truly one of a kind"
