Flippin heck. If only I'd known. I've just won a little Fender 400 off ebay and am trotting up from Devon to London on Saturday to pick it up. Would have been more happy with the Delux 8. Wonder if I can justify to other half that I need both

I've got the double neck version of that steel (same red/yellow sunburst finish). Sounds great but unfortunately too darn big and heavy to lug around to gigs

There's a great forum - not very active but lots of useful information on there - all about the Fender cable models.

You might even be able to find someone who has a spare cable or can make one to replace your missing one.

Have you worked out how you're gonna set it up yet?
