I am the proud owner of the above instrument.
I brought it from the legend that is Gerry Hogan way back in 2008 and have enjoyed playing it over the years.
But it's time to part.
I'd like to sell it on.
But I'm not looking to make loads. I get that it is a good model for learning but also sound enough and sweet enough to play anywhere.
I'd sell it cheap to a beginner - or to anyone seriously interested.
I'm not going down the eBay route, mainly because it's totally the wrong forum.
I'd like to offer it, sort of as seen, with loads of images (it was serviced by Gerry, but some time ago.)
I'd even throw in a BJS steel bar, a volume pedal and a spare set of strings!!
But I'm not sure how to go about it on this forum.
Advice sought, and will be gratefully received.
Thank you

I've had a few replies - for which thank you.
I think the way forward is for me to post comprehensive photos and settle on an asking price.
(Yes, I'm new to this!)
I'll do that asap.

The Springfield RS 10 Pro Deluxe 2 (E9 3P/4K) is offered for sale at £1,200. Carriage to be negotiated - the ensemble weighs about 27 kg.
It comes with a substantial hard case, a Carter volume pedal, a BJS 7/8" tone bar, and a new set of George L's E9 Nashville strings (including 3 extra 0.011).
I would describe its condition as good, but I am not an expert. I'm aware that the cranks and pull rods etc are vital, and although I think they're fine I can give no absolute guarantees.
To my ear after the operation of the pedals and knee levers the strings return to pitch.
I am happy to answer any questions, within the envelope of my expertise!!

Sir, someone may well pay you the price you are asking but, I can almost guarantee that when the time comes Saint Peter will not let you in.

Thank you John.
I don't think it needs many forensic skills to figure out that I am somewhat out of my knowledge/comfort zone with this attempt to pass on an instrument which has given me pleasure over a few years.
If I really am asking way above its value, perhaps a helpful comment on that might have sufficed?
I did take advice and, FYI, it pointed to values way in excess of £1,200. I thought them unrealistic.
My offer was to elicit response and counter offer, not derision or disrespect.
But thanks anyway.

TO ALL
I am obviously open to offers for the Springfield RS10.
Please send me a PM with what you consider would be a fair offer.
If you're within striking distance I am prepared to deliver.

I am not sure how serious John was being back there. I know these are a dated design and he has one for sale cheaper, but this one does have the extra two knee levers, the case and the volume pedal.

Sorry if I caused offense it was a feeble attempt at humour.
My ad for the Springfield I have just sold for 750 was very close to this ad and may have given a clue to my valuation but here is some difference, when I bought mine it was cheap but it was gutted, the entrails were in a bag and it was incomplete, I am lucky to be the idiot who still had a few Springfield parts and was able to rebuild and sell in serviced playable condition and give help on how to play and adjust. Ithink both buyer and seller were happy.
Sam you have a point re. The extras.
