It would appear that this beautiful LDG has been refinished. The Sho~Bud company used food colouring to stain their bodies, as did a number of manufacturers from that era including ZB. Many green LDGs turned brown after being subjected to UV rays, but this guitar will remain green throughout its life.

Yes Ken, you are right. This guitar has had a complete makeover, including all metal parts repolished. Th re-lacquer job on the
cabinet is superb. A brighter green than the original, but beautiful. The LDG was introduced in 1973, and still looks like a
modern guitar. Someone is going to be the proud owner of fine pedal steel guitar.
