Wanted a set of adjustable legs suitable for fixing to 8 string lap steel.

Have you thought about using a walking frame cut to a suitable height, extra light and very secure, guitar just sits on top no alterations required.
Easily acquired in charity shops or online sales sites. ( J D might even have a spare one
)
