North East Steelers April 2017

The next meeting of the North East Steelers will be on 30 April 2017 at the Buck Inn, Thornton Watlass, from 12 noon until 4.00ish.

Walkin' After Midnight in D
St Louis Blues in Cm
Let it be Me in F

There'll be space for jams, showcasing of party pieces etc...

I have backing tracks made available by Keith and Derek for the first two tunes so far. Anyone wanting these backing tracks can contact me or Keith direct.

Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the day. Our last meeting was the best yet, with Keith Wilson, Pete Lindsley, Mike Eacock and Rod and Rosemary King and Geordie legend (he told me to say this!) Jim Hornsby on dobro and Telecaster as well as the usual suspects. We missed Keith and hope he'll be with us next time. Most of the above will be attending on 30 April, so anyone with a love of all things steel guitar-ish will be in for a treat. New players very welcome - of any standard. Technical help, advice, fun, banter all part of the joys.
