Many happy returns Donny, my wife's on the 29th and grandkids on the 30th, busy time of year for birthdays. So what's that then, 41 again

Found a solution to my knee problem, wearing knee supports seems to do the trick, so back at the steel again. Been working on Cry, bought the tab and backing track from Buck Reid, working around the different copedent but getting there.

A good night had by all, down on numbers a bit, Dougie touring with Stella Parton, John on holiday ( that won't be allowed again ) Tony missing in action. Thanks for the birthday card lads.

Yep, another class night. Even though I never took part it was great to sit back and really listen to the playing. Inspirational to the max!
But never fear, I'll be back on the stool next month utilising my new Sigler pedal (another class job from Mr.Adams, thanks Bob). In fact if you'll close your eyes you'll think,"Has Kayton Roberts come to Gartcosh! ". (I can dream, can't I?).....

Some great playing by the "boys" last night. Really enjoyed listening to some of the collaborations, you'd think with 3-4 steels playing at once it would be a bit of a cacophony but it sounded great.

When I'm practising the songs for the night, I often think I'm finally getting somewhere then I listen to Bob, Donny and Willie play and think - oh well still a long way to go

I take my hat off to you guy's, you make it look easy.

Looking forward to hearing the new Sigler pedal in action Danny, perhaps we could do Nightlife the next meeting
