Postby Donny Johnston » Thu Mar 24, 2016 7:40 pm

This month we'll have Ken Byng with us, so get practicing and make him work hard to keep up. Danny Flash Fingers Mitchell, and Willie Look At The Silly Run I Can Do Gamble, will be expected to keep up the usual standard. Davie That's The Wrang Key Withers, will tell us it's in the wrang key, Bob Look At Me In C6 Adams, Will be in E9th, JC will be JC, Dobro Dougie will be cool as usual, and a mans a man for awe that, an awe that.

Hey Donny
I had to work hard last time as I didn't know what you guys would be playing. I had to wing it. At least I can (and have) practise to the tracks that you sent through. I am more confident this time. :D :D :D

Willie "Look At The Silly Run I Can Do" Gamble here, Ken I think you will find it will be me who will be winging it this time as I do not have Band in a box, and as a consequence of this, I have no idea how the tracks that" Donny 2 goes" Johnston makes up.

So I will be knocking them over like a good un on the 26th, it will be good to see you again Ken.

What would be the icing on the cake would be Ted Nesbitt pitching up on the night as well.

Davie, Don't listen to him, he has BIAB, he has no computer, he's been to long with McMiser.

Donny, he probably has both, just no idea of modern technology, folk in Lochwinnoch don't have mobile phones, they just carry a pair of drum sticks.

Ha friggin ha McMiser,I'll do the jokes from now on.
Here is the real reason why I don't have band in the box
My computer went to the great computer home in the sky, and I am currently using the one belonging to the current incumbent of the title, and I am reluctant ( for health reasons) to install BIB onto her computer.
So there you have it, from the horses mouth so to speak, but hey ho I will make a manful attempt at the tunes on the 28th, and yes I will probably make a few clangers, but then again that's just me to a tee

Thanks Dobbin, that explains it.The current Mrs Gamble is a karate black belt ( I joke not) whilst Mr Gamble uses elasticated waist bands, so no contest.I am glad you upgraded your communications from the Mick Dundee boomerang tied to long piece of twine swung round head to the drum sticks. ;)
