The British Steelies Society

Hi Chaps, but mainly Donny,
I was wondering if we should pick our own tunes for next month, it worked well the last time. As Donny's plate will surely be full, what with marinating his chops for the Irish SteelFest. Good Luck to Donny and Willie, gie it lallday boys!

Hey guys, any word on what the tunes are for this month. If we are doing previous would it be possible to get a list or better still the previous BIAB files for songs that have been done before.

Thanks

(Best to Willie & Donny)

Geoff,I sent everyone a copy of : "The Rose " for the October meeting, can you confirm you have it. Donny.

Yes I have it, thanks Donny. I just wasn't sure if we were also doing another. Danny has very kindly sent me all the previous BIAB songs and some extras that he had, so I'm well sorted now (We need a smiley with a ZZ Top beard )

I resemble that remark,

Oh God my stomach is going like a washing machine with the thought of next Saturday in Dublin

Asleep at the steel

Have you seen the picture of Danny in this months Newsletter Willie, now there's a beard to catch the crumbs

Sorry Danny, I'm just jealous cause I canny grow one

Willie, I've watched your video from the 2013 gig, and to be honest, if I was Joe Wright I'd be quaking in my boots

Willie you're a great player and a good entertainer, I'd pay to watch you, well actually I do, it costs me a fiver every month

Ha Ha, I was in disguise Jif! Honest!

You're bang on with regards to Willie. In fact it's a great double act that's representing Bonnie Scotland. If the audience can understand the patter, they're in for a good laugh along with some tasty chops. Tear it up gents!

On a different tack....I've put away my John Bull Printing Set and I can confirm there will be a wee Lucky Bag for those attending the monthly get together.
