We have had 12 to 15 steelies on an evening1..........last night we had 5 steels .. were we downhearted .. Oh I think not!

Read the comments on the video.... they tell the story! Take the quality to 720 on settings and view full screen!

Bob looks like you guys still had a great time but it is a downer when you go to so much trouble to organise an event, apathy has got to be the worst thing to fight with at a steelies meeting .......... then people complain when there's nothing on

I wish it was closer I would love to attend but that journey would be killer... (yes I know you do it all the time) and my passport's expired

cannot even get on a plane nowadays without a valid passport...... I know you have to excuse the guys lucky enough to have a gig to go to but, Scotland is full of Steel players Newbies and wanna bee's where are they ???

a great time was had! I look on these 'campfire' nights as a complete bonus. Great singing, harmonies and playing all round, and all 'off the cuff'. So, thank you guys, you're all inspirational to me. Lang may yer lums reek!

Very fine playing and singing all round. You are all helping to keep the instrument alive north of the border, and it is wonderful to see. Long may the enthusiasm and interest levels remain. I intend to do a bit of travelling around bonny Scotland next Spring, and would like to have a look/listen at one of your meets if that is OK.

Don't you fret Mr Mitchell!

That 4 mins was rewarding to us all and a pleasure to watch, such progress! Yes it is daunting watching your own playing but it does keep you alert!

As does this...

I wanted everybody else up before I stuck on the 'auld fart'! :guitar:

But I know that if JD had found out I did this and not posted it! He would have kicked my ass!

I've not played this since I pinched a shot of Ken's Mullen before taking it south in March 2011! (That was a nice guitar!)
As for this effort, I am trying! Some say very!!

I am so down hearted that I missed half of the anniversary show, but I love the video which you have posted BoB. Imust say you are all talented guys in anything that you do and I hope it lasts for ever :guitar:
