South London Steelies - second meeting 24 November

[Nick Bidmade]

Hi Bar Tenders
Just a reminder that our second meeting is scheduled for Sunday 24 November at the 'Bread and Roses' pub 68 Clapham Manor Street, SW4 6DZ, 12 noon till 6.00pm ish. (That's three weeks today!)
I have emailed the pub and asked for the pool table to be removed from the room (and have not had a reply, so we'll see!)...
Hope everyone has had the sound files Shaun has kindly put together and shared. Note there are 2 versions of 'Farewell Party', in C and in E - take your pick, or be adventurous and try both!
Let's also have some suggestions ready for songs for our January meeting (date to be determined when we meet).
See you all then - apologies from Henry and a warm welcome to Jon and space for a couple of more players if anyone is thinking of coming along - we'd love to see you!

Not sure i'm gonna make this one.. I'll try

[judgebouche]

Count me in - Although I am waaaay behind on my practicing...

I've still not got my amp fixed - so without meaning to be a freeloading swine, if there's a spare amp available in exchange for a few pints/crisps that would be great.

Cheers
David

I can bring along the same amp as before if you like, Andy.

[BanjoTom]

Would there be space for another small one? I'm up in Maida Vale these days, so not truly local, but it'd be nice to come down and meet you all, hear you play, even if I don't bring the steel. Happy to chip in for room hire and things.

Andy, if it's not too much trouble then that would be great - thanks so much!

[henrybainbridge]

I'll be there!

Hi Tom. It would be great to have you come along. Drop a pm to me with your email address and 'll put you on the circulation list. I'll also forward it to Shaun so you can access backing tracks. Look forward to seeing you. Room hire is approx £10 each.
