Uffe, i am not involved with the running of the festival, but just to say, it is always held in October, and i think im right in saying, everyone seemed to be very happy with the 2011 venue, but to my knowledge, no announcement has been made yet, as Donny says, its a bit early yet,

It's great to see such enthusiasm so early in the year. The date has always been the second weekend of October. I'm not aware of any reason why that would change. Apart from that, it is too early to give any more details.

Mike, great to see confirmation, and the venue was great also. Is there anything that can be done to make the event more high profile, I know that advertising costs money, everyone is so nice, but could it be time to run it more like a business?

Hi Donny, hope all is well.

The festival is advertised in the Irish press. We did discuss advertising on one or more of the plethora of tv stations now featuring "country" music such as Hot Country, Phil Mack Country Show, West of Ireland Music TV and I thought it would be done last year but the wheels grind slowly! Such advertising is of course not cheap. We shall see!

Uffe, you probably tried a hotel booking site? Go directly to the hotels own website and you will find plenty of rooms
