SSGW last Night Feb 25

Nice little night last night!
Very small in number with Donny unwell, Davie Withers and Robert unable to get there, too bad but there is always next month.

It was nice to see new blood with us in the shape of young Freddie Pusch who came along from Edinburgh with his Lap steel, he certainly had a go and I think was well pleased to sit behind Willie's Mullen for a spell, getting tips from all quarters, not least Davie Holland sitting beside him who gave him numbers of pointers.

All that apart we had a surprise visit from a stranger !!!!

Jim Gorrie and his wife turned up out the blue and it was great to see them, it has been a while for sure! Hope your health keeps up Jim and we see you back in the not too distant future!

It would also be good to See, Geoff, Callum, Billy, Tony and numbers of others!!

Us auld guys also enjoyed the banter covering 'Days of the Seventies' Recording sessions with the BBC and ITV recalling stories of players and mutual friends of the time. Those were happy days though we maybe didn't realise it at the time!

A good little night all round I do believe!

It was good to be back at 'The Cosh' on Tuesday, We (my wife and I) were made very welcome despite the length of time since my last visit.
Hoping to get back in the driving seat behind the steel to see if I can make any meaningful sounds . . . I might turn up with it one night.
Oh, and thanks for the coffees and cakes!
