Just in from the meet and I have to say it was a really enjoyable evening. The method of one player playing the melody and another playing intro`s, fills and endings really worked great.
Davie Withers is really coming along with his playing too. Even Tony had a go at House with no curtains, after only about an hour and a half seat time and did a fantastic job.
Willie`s tutorial was excellent and very informative. His harmonic tuning method had the cameras rolling to replay later at a slower speed.
Something for everyone as it should be, and the banter bucket was overflowing as always.
Great night guys....cant wait for next month.

I agree wholeheartedly with every word uttered by the former speaker. It really was a great night.
There were a couple of regulars absent but we still had 9 in attendance.
Thank God my string mule arrived last night, I put my last set of Jagwires on last Thursday and it was squeeky bum time having no spares, but thankfully T. Tott arrived with the goods last night.
Great night, some good playing, some great banter.
Any ideas about tunes for next month, send your suggestions on a postcard to................
Geoff,if you are reading this, get Weller better sooner.

I concur with all the remarks from the above. The two man set up worked really well. An enjoyable evening. Requested by John Craig, one of next months tunes will be the Merle Haggard version of That's The Way Love Goes. There are loads of recordings of this song so listen to the Haggard on U Tube. The two man set up I think should continue, you get to play more, 2 runs at the same tune, but different. Seeya next month. LDN.
