Great night last night. I take it from the dulled enthusiasm for learning some intros etc that it is not to everyones taste? Let us know one way or t`other so that we dont waste time on it.
Was there another post for the third tune? Maybe I missed it? (wouldnt be surprised lol)

Song suggestion for next month Sweet Memories

Cheers

An enjoyable evening, even though the hall was cooler than normal with Hunners having to eat a chocolate bar to maintain his body heat!

T’was n’t dulled enthusiasm that t’was problem but trying to get to grips with THREE toon’s, regards your main question I think there’s a clue in the name, Scottish Steel Guitar WORKSHOP !
With the pedal steel, learning is a major part of playing and any help in achieving that, would be greatly appreciated by lesser mortals like myself!

Regards the toon’s
“ Sweet memories “ and “ In the garden “ are more than enough to chew on, especially when you don’t know what key they are gonna be played in, so

No longer slummin, I’ve got a Mullen and a damn good amp as well,
they’ll be well played, if not played well, seat time alone must tell!

Robert, I have written the track for In The Garden and I will send it when I find out what key Willie plays it in. LDN

Yer Ludship
Our Willie is ambidextrous and unlike others ,he can play it in any key :guitar: , but he did suggest it was played in the key of G, what’s the key for Sweet Memories?
Just askin? 8-)

Robert my good man, had i KNOWN that there were three toons on the go I would not have asked for your homework to be in on time...

Also, I am wondering what the issue is with learning a song in a specific key? If its in G and someone wants it in A, then move your bar two frets to the right and do the exact same thing.

Also also, just because there are three toons doesnt mean you have to learn them all, just pick the ones you like out of them..... :D
