Well it was a fine day and fun was had by all. Mr Gamble took on the cooking duties and I must say, he did a grand job supplying the troops with their burgers, sausages, lamb chops which came from endless supplies brought by the attendees and he even gets the thumbs up from my son Jamie (11) for his efforts. :D :D . The banter and the stories were flowing and J even got to show off the wonderful mechanism for my leg, built by Mr Bob Adams.
Here is a wee link and some foties of the day..

Looks like a brilliant day Davie, and then to add to that you played Cold Cold Heart, fantastic, congratulations on reaching the goal you had set yourself. Donny.

Some rivers to cross Mr H, but my goodness, such courage and attitude has humbled us all.
My contribution is a drop in the ocean, but I am thrilled you are back ( well nigh as was.)
If any future developments (NHS or otherwise) exceed my efforts I will be more than delighted.

Sounding great Davie, you have my total admiration.
Ps I know The Gamble did the cooking, but have you seen him lately on tv ? he appears in the Wiltshire Foods advert delivering food to the elderly, although I must admit am disappointed that he has not delivered any food to me, watch the advert, wonder if he has equity card? ;)

That was excellent Davie. I see little Willie studiously copping your licks mate. He's got them, don't worry about that.

You've got a good group of supportive friends there. Well done to all concerned, particularly Robert Adams. :guitar: :guitar:
