Great stuff, these campfire nights are usually a hoot. I cannot wait, did you go down to Thornton Watlass Donny, if so how was it?

A really good night and I particularly enjoyed the comedy turn from the deputy chairman in the corner who availed us all of his story telling and " ressusitations " :o  as well as his story of a " conversation told in confidence that should not be repeated" complete with accents from every area in Scotland and Northern Ireland that heard the tale !
I had the added bonus of Douggie Stevens play my guitar to let me hear the sound and we then altered the amp and I recorded it on my phone to come up with the results on the video I hope to post below.
A really good evening and a big thanks to all who attended and made it so.
Looking forward to next year and I have no excuses left regards a poor " sound " from my instrument or amp after hearing this clip which was recorded without an M.A. or the use of Donny's comb! :guitar: :guitar:

No longer slummin, I’ve got a Mullen and a damn good amp as well,
they’ll be well played, if not played well, seat time alone must tell!

Nice one Robert, hopefully there will be no more enquiries from yourself regarding your sound, it's self evident. Well done. LDN

As far as I know that is the only one, unless Robert has anymore on his phone. Donny

Due to popular demand ( one person is enough ) :o I will endeavour to post the second video I have, my aim was to record the sound from my guitar played through a small amp, that's why the camera is on Dougie playing all the time.
In order to avoid court action I'll let Donny be responsible for naming other participants on this take, so royalties and other costs are his responsibility! :guitar: :guitar:
One other video I have is shorter and I'll post it in the lap steel section with a full description of the amp being used.
Now for the hard part, trying to open the brackets :P and then get the "you know what" stuck in the middle, so here goes. :?
Eureka ahv'e done it, two vids in one week, now I'm an expert!
