The British Steelies Society

We had another friendly meeting at the Buck Inn yesterday. Playing were, Tony Russell Davis, Rosemary and Rod King, Derek Evans, John Stafford, Keith Wilson and myself.
We started with a round robin of Cold Cold Heart which went down very well. Then attendees were invited to showcase any new tunes that had been learned.
Next was a break to sample the tasty food, which is always available at the Buck Inn.
The final part of the afternoon was a general "Jam" along, mostly to some of Rod's huge catalogue of tunes, but also to any tunes the other attendees had brought along.
Once again, a big thank you goes to Vikki, the landlady of the Buck Inn who makes the room available free of charge.
Our next meeting will probably be in October, as the NESGF takes place in Thornton Watlass on August 11th/12th.
