Keith and Tony share the SpecSavers 'spot the deliberate mistake' award.
P.S. Did I tell you about the best burgers in Yorkshire that the pub offers?
Just off for a little lie down (until 14 october).

Well once again we had a great afternoon at Thornton Watlass, The regulars we there, Tony Russell Davis, Derek Evans, John Stafford and myself, Keith Glendinning. Just as we started proceedings we were joined by Derek Thurlby who said it was the only meeting he hadn't attended so far. He brought his beautiful Sheffield guitar with him and it was welcomed with quite a few oh's and ah's, yes it's a stunning looking guitar with sounds to match the looks.
We all played our 2 Round Robin tunes, Help Me Make It Through The Night and I Love you Because then the attendees played tunes from their own favourites.
It was good to see Tony Russell Davis looking healthy following his recent triple bypass, keep up the recovery Tony.
Pictures of the attendees are below.

I hope Derek T" enjoyed the afternoon and we look forward to the next meeting and hopefully even more visitors to one of our friendly, no ego sessions.
P.s. Best wishes to those regulars who could not attend today.

I really enjoyed Sundays get together ,and to see Tony looking so well was a treat
With my mate Keith we met up with John and his mate up from Stockport. And what a great surprise
Derek Thurlby was with us.What a player he is and it was something else to hear him play.
He brought with him his Sheffield guitar ,and it was beautiful to see.he was very helpful
to me and gave me some great advice . What a nice person he is. But overall
I enjoyed being in the company of a great set of people.Hope to meet them all again.
PS Great to be back at the Buck Inn again. Brilliant . Regards Derek.

Another great NESG day ay ‘The Buck’ Thornton Watlass. Although we were down on attendee numbers, the room was full
of music, friends, both old and new, and good cheer. What was not to like.
Mr Thurlby with his gorgeous ‘Sheffield’ PSG were truly on song. Tone and touch to die for. Thank you Derek.
Thanks also to Derek E and Keith for the backing tracks, though I failed miserably to do them any justice.
I was good to see Tony and I wish him all the best with his recovery. I understand some of our friends were unable to attend through illness, Hope you are soon mended and I look forward to seeing everyone at the next meeting.
Regards John Stafford
