I DID say earlier in this thread that I would play from the original one supplied just like everyone else, so why would Donny not have the "old" version ?

Neither here nor there ? I don't believe that a postulant Steel Player would say that.
You/we spend substantial amounts of monies to get what is an acceptably good sound yet are prepared to ignore the basics of music ? I don't believe that, it's a paradox.
How can anyone play along with wrong chords, that require the melody to be changed to suit, (by choice ?).

I not only play a bit of guitar but also play inordinately with words.. as is my wont.. (look up that word, (wont) 'tis almost as archaic and redundant as wayzegoose..)
I've actually been wonting for many a year, and as a septuagenarian that would be the infamous three score and ??

As a record producer for some heavyweights in the business I have had to be au fait with word usage; grammar; and all the vagaries of music including the effect of tempo related problems, tuning differences caused by geographical location, and I've deeply studied relationship betwixt the comfort zone of the Alpha Brainwave Patterns and Respiratory Rate.

Sorry I`ve been absent for a while, and again, I`m not going to make Aug 26th as Im working in St Andrews...
Glad to see its still going stong, and hope to make the September date.
If anyone is interested, there is a muso Jam night in the Opry this weekend, Sunday night to be exaact, and I know Mr Gamble will be going, as well as myself.

My rig will be there for you to use if you want to take part with a live band, and I`m sure it will be a hoot. Cst is only £5 and would be a good night out for a blether!
